HI data of the M81 Triplet (M81, M82, NGC3077)

This page contains download links to the M81 triplet neutral hydrogen radio data cubes and maps as described in de Blok et al. 2018, ApJ, 865, 26, available at ADS and arXiv. A full-resolution PDF is also available here.

Please see the paper for further details on the observations, data, and properties of the maps and cubes.

Below we provide the following data products:

Cubes:

• the natural-weighted and robust-weighted cubes of the VLA C+D mosaic, 
• the natural-weighted cube using only D-array-like baselines,
• the natural-weighted and zero-spacing corrected data cube of the VLA C+D array and GBT single-dish data from Chynoweth et al. (2011).

Moment maps:

• natural- and robust-weighted zeroth, first and second moment maps of the VLA C+D mosaic,
• natural-weighted zeroth, first and second moment maps of the "D-array" mosaic,
• zero-spacing corrected natural-weighted integrated HI map (zeroth-moment) of VLA C+D and GBT data.
  
  

In addition, all moment map FITS files can be downloaded as a single tar-file. This tar file also includes  jpeg-images of the moment maps and an overlay on an optical image.
