Planar view of 90 pulsar profiles from the European Pulsar Network database

Submitter: Dany Vohl
Description: Graphs have only been around since Leonhard Euler solved the crossing problem of the Seven Bridges of Königsberg in 1736. Their exploration and use have served various areas of interest, from pure mathematics to applied engineering. We have explored the world of graph theory to investigate a puzzling aspect of radio pulsars: the connection between their magnetosphere configuration and energy relative to our line-of-sights towards them. We developed a framework to perform graph-related analysis tasks efficiently, along with plotting methods to unveil complex multi-dimensional data in a unified picture. We present this work in a recent article by Vohl, van Leeuwen, and Maan (2024, A&A)
