METIS Instrument Passes PDR!

| Description: | METIS (Mid-infrared ELT Imager and Spectrograph), for ESO’s Extremely Large Telescope (ELT), has passed its Preliminary Design Review. NOVA (Netherlands Research School for Astronomy) leads 12 partners across the globe in building this ~100MEuro instrument. Along with many other system-level tasks, NOVA is building a major subsystem at ASTRON. |
