New mast and test transmitter at the LOFAR station in Onsala

| Description: | Image from Jan. 11th 2013 of engineer Ulf Kylenfall next to the new 150 MHz transmitter designed at Onsala Space Observatory -- in partnership with ASTRON -- to aid diagnostic tests of LOFAR station hardware.
The whole setup was chosen to be as simple and portable as possible using a standard car battery as power source.
