| Description: | In the last few years, ASTRON has established a tradition of producing an institute Christmas card, and this year is no exception. Usually, we choose one of the images that we have produced through the year, often associated with an important result from our research efforts. This year we have tried to be a little more creative - calling on the photographic prowess of Harm-Jan Stiepel, the light conjuring ability of Peter Maat and the organisation skills of both Diana van Dijk and Femke Boekhorst. The composition required the use of various props and even light sabres to produce the appropriate festive lighting conditions. The Christmas card should be arriving in pigeon holes around the world soon - we hope you like it! |
