| Description: | Last Friday, Ramesh Karuppusamy successfully defended his thesis on giant pulses from the Crab Pulsar; the cover is show above. These high time-resolution studies were enabled by PuMaII, the NOVA-funded pulsar machine that Ramesh helped to build for the WSRT. Both PuMaII and the thesis are excellent pieces of work! |
